ABD: I completed all coursework for the Ph.D. in English literature at UC Riverside and UC Davis from 1996-1999.  I specialized in research on consciousness and identity in speculative fiction, cognitive studies, and philosophy, touching upon cloning, cyborgs, robots, and AI.  Dissertation not completed.


MA: California State University, Stanislaus, M.A. English literature, 1995, Honors.  I also completed all course work equivalent to an M.A. in the Teaching of Writing, with the exception of the Master's Project.  M.A.Thesis: Does Eugenics = (E)utopia?
