Ellen Degerman

Hi there I’m Ellen, a professional optimist and Admissions & Records Specialist. In 2021 I became the first in my family to graduate from college when I received two bachelor degrees from UC Irvine – B.A. of Anthropology and B.A. of International Studies. I have 6 years of experience working in various higher education roles at Modesto Junior College and UC Irvine prior to joining the Columbia College Admissions team. I am passionate about providing college students with support and encouragement for their educational journey.
