After graduating with her Associate's Degrees, she was a preschool teacher for two years before returning to Columbia in the fall of 2015 as the Child Development Instructional Support Aide. In 2016 she graduated summa cum laude from CSU Stanislaus with a BA in Child Development, and in 2017 she moved over to the Columbia College Apprenticeship Initiative program where she now helps place students in apprenticeship programs in Hospitality Management and Child Development and assists in implementing the new Fire Science Pre-Apprenticeship workshops and trainings.
When she is not at work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with family, skiing (when there's snow!), and walking local trails with her dog.
