Information & Guide on how to get an AST - Physics
I worked in the high tech semiconductor industry as a Process Engineer for 15 years at various companies in the Bay Area. I still run occasional contracts during summers. In addition after moving to Tuolumne county in 2006, I have worked at Sonora High School and Soulsbyville School teaching mathematics and AP Physics. My goal here is to teach you to the best of my ability and bring some inspiration that will drive you to consider to approach a career path in science and teaching others as well.
Physics unpacks critical thinking and getting you ready to understand everything that moves around you. So I am looking forward in working with you and together to create a very positive and collaborative environment! Your success matters and the part you control the most is your genuine effort!
I have a M.Sc. Physics (with emphasis in Solid State Physics) with a minor in Math from the University of Bucharest - Romania (1992). I also have a teaching credential in Europe as well as in the USA. I love to teach and inspire students to strive for their best and enjoy seeing real progress at any level! As long we are on a positive slope we are good! Effort and persistence is the key!
Seeing the growth in all of you it is the most rewarding experience!
I love my family and enjoy taking trips together, hiking, playing chess with my teenage daughter, cooking and swimming.
