Lisa Murphy

Lisa Murphy is a lifetime learner who loves outdoor adventure.  Some of her passions include: reading books and new scientific studies, ocean kayaking, back country snow play, cycling, traveling to areas of high biodiversity, hiking, and hanging out under a starry sky watching the bats come out.


In addition to teaching for Columbia College, Lisa is co-founder of the Gold Country Bat Project and served on the Board of Directors for Tuolumne Utility District.
