California Naturalist Certification,  FNR 86 - This course is offered at Baker Station with a required pre-class at Columbia College.Certification as a California Naturalist

Natural History and Ecology,  FNR 50 - This course will be offered as a series of Wednesday night class on campus at Columbia College and subsequent Saturday field trips

      Lisa Murphy

      Lisa Murphy

      Lisa Murphy is a lifetime learner who loves outdoor adventure.  Some of her passions include: reading books and new scientific studies, ocean kayaking, back country snow play, cycling, traveling to areas of high biodiversity, hiking, and hanging out under a starry sky watching the bats come out.


      In addition to teaching for Columbia College, Lisa is co-founder of the Gold Country Bat Project and served on the Board of Directors for Tuolumne Utility District.
