Hello! I am Chloe Beckett, an Adjunct Instructor in the Anthropology Department.

I took my first anthropology class here at Columbia College many years ago! Honestly…it was one of the hardest classes I ever took. BUT, it was also fascinating! I went on to complete a B.S. in Anthropology at UC Davis and an M.A. in Anthropology (Archaeology) from Arizona State University. I am a Registered Professional Archaeologist and worked in cultural resource management (applied archaeology) for 7 years. I have also worked in cultural and evolutionary anthropology positions.

I am excited to share the world of anthropology with you! We really live in a unique cultural area here in Tuolumne County and I hope to spark your interest and serve as a resource for your growing interest in anthropology and in our community in general.
