About

I completed a Ph.D. and M.A. in sociology at UCLA, as well as a B.A. in psychology at Reed College in Portland, OR.  I love teaching and am thrilled to share sociology and psychology with students here at Columbia College.

When I'm not thinking about social science (more like thinking less about social science - virtually everything is sociological!), I love cooking, music, travel, sewing, preserving old things, dogs, chickens and gardening.
