About
Here is a link to a short introduction about me. . .
I am a Curtis Creek, Sonora High and Columbia College alumnus. While attending Columbia College I worked as a firefighter with the Forest Service for three seasons and was a ski patroller at Dodge Ridge. After obtaining my BA in Mathematics with a minor in Integrative Studies from Sonoma State University, and experiencing the life of a ski bum in Tahoe and wilderness kayak ranger in Alaska, I attended Western Washington University where I received my secondary education credential in Mathematics as well as completed a year of graduate mathematics courses. I returned to Sonora in 2007 to teach mathematics at Sonora High School for three years and served on the Sonora High School District board for four years. I have been a part time and full time temporary mathematics instructor with Columbia College for the last 14 years.
In my spare time, I help my husband with our local diversified fruit and vegetable farm and spend time with my two daughters. I love skiing, hiking, biking, and anything in the great outdoors!
